Aubrey Huff freaking sucks. He has gone from fairly unremarkable baseball player to conservative Twitter troll. It’s been quite the turnaround for a guy who hasn’t played in the MLB since 2012. These days he is just out there spewing non-sense, supporting Donald Trump and being a complete jackass.
But don’t take our word for it. Here are six reasons why Aubrey Huff freaking sucks.

1) The thong wearer complains about fashion
Huff’s real claim to fame is that he wore a thong during the San Francisco Giants 2010 championship season. Not exactly the manliest thing to do. So, it was odd that he took to Twitter to call out NBA players for carrying bags. He did get eviscerated in the comments section, so it wasn’t a complete wash.

2) He used PEDs
His 2010 season was a product of Adderall usage, which Huff has admitted to in the past. However, his performance in 2008 is suspicious as hell. Clearly, he was taking something then too.

If you have pre-existing conditions, or you’re an old person or—and this is going to sound insensitive, but someone has to say it—you’re morbidly obese, then stay at home. Just because that is your plight in life, doesn’t mean the whole world has to shut down.”
Huff said that in June. And now thousands of people have died. Well played, moron.

Seriously? The Adderall must have messed his brain up if he’s putting out this kind of tinfoil hat conspiracy theory.
5) He was a massive defensive liability
The only thing worse than Huff on Twitter might have been Huff on a baseball field. He boasted a woeful -5.4 Defensive WAR and was rated terribly by every other metric that measures defense.
6) Huff is always the victim
Huff is constantly acting like a victim despite saying he hates it when people do that.
He wasn’t invited to the Giants and Huff cried that he was a victim because of his support of Donald Trump. The government wants people to wear a mask to stop the spread of COVID-19 and he is the victim here too. What. A. Bitch.
