Georgia vs Auburn college football betting picks for week 5
The Georgia offense hasn't looked good in more than a year and Auburn has a lot of talent

It was a mixed bag for us in week 4. We hit on Auburn and were on Mississippi State to cover (we also bet on them outright). However, FIU came up short and West Virginia crapped the bed. All things considered, 2-2 isn’t bad. But we are looking to do better with our college football betting picks for week 5.

The Touchback’s college football betting picks for week 5

 Auburn (+220) vs Georgia

The Georgia Bulldog offense continues to look out of sorts. Maybe JT Daniels is the answer, but it is hard to see him having much success against Auburn. Speaking of the Tigers, they played well against Kentucky with Bo Nix appearing to have taken a step forward in his development. This will be a low scoring affair, but you have to like Auburn at +220.

SMU (+110) vs Memphis

SMU hasn’t played anyone of note, but they have looked really good blowing out cupcakes. Memphis on the other hand hasn’t played in almost a month and didn’t look all that great sneaking past Arkansas State in early September. These two teams played a thriller last season with Memphis edging the Mustangs, but SMU is probably the more talented squad this year and happens to be playing at home.

USF (+22) vs. Cincinnati (-110)

This spread seems really high all things considered. The Bearcats are good, but they have struggled to put the Bulls away in recent seasons. Meanwhile, USF is expecting North Carolina transfer Cade Fortin to play at quarterback which should be a boost to their offense. Assuming South Florida aren’t hiding a bunch of positive COVID-19 test, they should be able to keep things within three touchdowns here.

College football betting picks – Parlay total $10 to win $124.28

Our college football betting picks for week 5 only feature three games due to the fact a lot of the spreads are just too murky, especially for the SEC games. That being said, both Auburn and SMU look to provide good value and the USF play adds to our potential parlay winnings.
