This is the fifth part in our series that takes a look at strange and mysterious stories from sports.
Paranormal experiences like hauntings and alien abductions don’t just happen to military pilots flying over the Pacific Ocean. They also happen to famous athletes in the world of sports.
Just ask Stefan Kiessling who fortuitously catalyzed a successful cross-dimensional football teleportation during this play.
Here are three more mysterious sports stories that involve paranormal experiences.

Diego Sanchez’s UFO experience

UFC Fighter Diego Sanchez was working out in the backyard of his New Mexico home when he claimed to see a UFO “hover” only a few hundred feet above him.
He posted this tweet after the experience.

The Beast of Bosnia

In the Balkans, football trainer Damir Bradarac hit a creature with his car. The creature didn’t look like anything he had ever seen before.
Fascinated, Bradarac collected the remains of the “little dinosaur” and took it to a nearby veterinarian clinic.
Although the clinic said that the cryptid might possibly be part of the cat family, they never determined exactly what it was.
UFOs stopped a soccer game in Tuscany

In October 1954, a football game was stopped when 10,000 fans noticed that several UFOs were hovering above the stadium.
Footballer Ardico Magnini, who was playing in the game, stated:
“I remember everything from A to Z. It was something that looked like an egg that was moving slowly, slowly, slowly. Everyone was looking up and also there was some glitter coming down from the sky, silver glitter.
“We were astonished we had never seen anything like it before. We were absolutely shocked.”
Interestingly, the UFOs rained down a silvery substance on the stadium and the surrounding town. Many people collected the substance and took it to the nearby Institute of Chemical Analysis at the University of Florence.
Professor Giovanni Canneri, who ran the lab, conducted several tests on the substance but the results were inconclusive.
