Before we jump into our college football week 9 parlay, let’s spare a moment to revisit last week. We came so close to hitting our second parlay of the year. Unfortunately, Purdue crapped the bed against Wisconsin and made our other three wins meaningless.

It happens. That’s the thing when you roll with a parlay. Close is nothing. You either win or you don’t. It is stupid to be pissed because one team loses. Even if that team is dumb-ass Purdue with their ridiculous drum and awful fans.

Anyway, let’s focus on what really matters; The Touchback’s college football week 9 parlay. Odds via Fanduel Sportsbook.

College Football Record in 2021

The Touchback’s college football week 9 parlay

SMU (-110) at Houston

Technically, this is a pick’em game, but we will count it as an underdog. Look, we’ve been all in on SMU this season and even wagered on the Mustangs to win the AAC this year. Of course, we’re taking them in a pick’em for this week’s parlay.

Ole Miss (+118) at Auburn

Ole Miss hasn’t played well in all their victories this season. However, Lane Kiffin’s team does find a way to get the job done. At 5-2, Auburn is solid but doesn’t have a quality win in 2021. A victory against an overrated Arkansas, who’s wins against Texas and Texas A&M aren’t impressive in hindsight, doesn’t count.

Anyway, the Rebels are the better team here which means you have to grab them in a parlay. There is a chance for a Tigers’ upset, but don’t bet on it.

TCU (+152) at Kansas State

We picked the Wildcats last week and boy did they make us sweat. Kansas State trailed Texas Tech 21-7 at halftime and didn’t look all that great despite getting the win. On the flipside, TCU is arguably better than their record indicates. Turnovers hurt them in losses against Texas and West Virginia. All things considered, these teams appear even which means take the more favorable odds.

Kansas +30.5 (-106) at Oklahoma State

The Kansas Jayhawks played the game of their lives in the first half against Oklahoma. However, they gave up 35 points in the second half. This week they travel to Stillwater where a showdown versus Oklahoma State awaits.

We don’t have a lot of faith in the Jayhawks, but the Cowboys haven’t blown anyone out this season. Their largest margin of victory is 11 points, and they could only beat FCS Missouri State by seven. Kansas may be terrible, but they have a realistic chance of covering.

Purdue +7.5 (-110) at Nebraska

Yes, Purdue burned us hard last week. However, Nebraska just hasn’t been good this season. Despite experts continuing to proclaim that Scott Frost is turning the program around, the Cornhuskers are 1-5 against P5 schools in 2021. That one win came against lowly Northwestern. So, while Purdue didn’t look great against Wisconsin, they should have no trouble keeping this within a touchdown.

Parlay Total: Bet $10 to win $379.11

We’re going with the rare five game parlay because all these contests are worth including. And, of course, it bumps up the payout.
