A few days after coming so close to hitting another one of our wagers, it was kind of hard to muster up the energy to do our college football week 12 parlay. The freaking Washington Huskies man.
Up by ten points heading into the fourth quarter, it looked like smooth sailing at Husky Stadium. Arizona State managed to cut the lead to three with a little under six minutes remaining, but it took a 20-play, nine-minute drive to do so. Things still seemed to be working in our favor.
Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. A quick three-and-out followed by a Sun Devils touchdown and a pick six doomed our parlay. At least Jimmy Lake isn’t around to beat up any more Washington players.
There is not much more to say apart from here is The Touchback’s college football week 12 parlay. Odds via Fanduel Sportsbook.

The Touchback’s college football week 12 parlay
South Carolina (+265) vs Auburn
South Carolina is not a great team by any measure, but Auburn looks to be in a tailspin that they seem unlikely to recover from. The Tigers have lost two straight, including an epic collapse against Mississippi State. To make matters worse, Bo Nix is done for the season. It may not happen, but the Gamecocks are outstanding value at home in this spot.
Oregon (+134) at Utah
The Ducks don’t earn many style points, but let’s not pretend this Utah team is as good as they have been in the past. The Utes labored against Arizona last week and have a trio of ugly losses on their resume. Sure, they have the talent to win this game. However, taking Oregon here is a no brainer.
Michigan State (+730) at Ohio State
There is nothing logical about this. Any attempts at justification would be half-hearted. This is a swing for the fences pick that we like for two reasons. First, to supercharge this week’s parlay. Second, to show our disdain for the Buckeyes.
SMU -11.5 (-114) at Cincinnati
I sincerely hope Cincinnati makes it to the College Football Playoff. That being said, SMU is the best team they have faced since Notre Dame and this should be a close game. The Mustangs probably don’t have enough to pull off the upset, but they can certainly keep this within 11 points.
Parlay Total: Bet $10 to win $1320.75
This isn’t our most reasonable parlay with some big underdogs in Michigan State and South Carolina headlining our picks. However, the payout is nothing to sneeze at.
