Conservatives are bullshit. And yet, their dream of a white, Christian America is closer now than ever before. The country is backsliding into the dark ages because a bunch of scumbag politicians controlled by huge corporations have realized they can exploit uneducated hicks in places no one with half a brain wants to live.
But let’s make one thing perfectly clear here. Liberals only have themselves to blame. We reside in an age where access to information and science is second to none. Logic should reign. Alas, it does not. And while those aforementioned hicks are a problem, they aren’t THE problem.
No, that fault is shouldered exclusively on liberals who have allowed this nonsense to happen in broad daylight. You see, conservatives are evil. Like actually evil. And those who dance with the devil are well versed in playing the long game. From the minute Barack Obama was elected in 2008, Republicans have schemed for this very moment.
Those elderly white fuckwits knew liberals didn’t have the appetite for a drawn-out war. Especially as society moved more and more towards instant gratification. The long game doesn’t get likes or retweets. There is no recognition or fame involved. However, if you play it right, the results will come.

Rowe vs. Wade was overturned. Voting rights are being trampled. Prayer is allowed in schools. Conservative bullshit has won. Now, it’s not like liberals have totally resisted. Unfortunately, they were too focused on petty battles that ultimately meant nothing.
Roasting Republicans on Twitter or doxing conservative Supreme Court judges may get you lots of likes on social media, but these are fruitless actions. No territory was gained. Conservatives weren’t prevented, or even slowed, from accomplishing their goals. It was the equivalent of taking a few pawns in a game of chess only to put yourself in checkmate.
Look, it is preposterous that we even need to have debates on issues like abortion rights or separation of church and state. These are long-settled issues that should have never been reopened in the first place. What makes things worse is that conservatives are blatantly lying and refuse to listen to reason or logic. Hell, they’ve launched numerous media outlets to confirm their lies despite never actually having any semblance of proof.
It makes sense why liberals didn’t want to fight this seemingly endless war. It is fucking stupid to begin with. Educated people don’t want to keep arguing with fools who won’t listen or just make stuff up. It’s a no-win situation. Unfortunately, evil politicians manipulating dumb-ass Americans is a recipe for success if the other side isn’t up for trench warfare.
At the end of the day, liberals only have themselves to blame for conservative bullshit. What’s worse is the fact there is no path to ending this in sight.
