We started 3-0 last week before Miami’s lifeless offense and the weather in Iowa derailed our parlay. This was another important reminder that you never know what will happen on Saturday. Despite the loss, The Touchback’s college football week 4 parlay is going for it once more.
There are quite a few intriguing home underdogs this week and these feature heavily in our wager. As we’ve mentioned several times in the past, the best value when building a parlay can be found when the home team in a tossup contest is not favored.
So, who is in our bet this time around? Here is The Touchback’s college football week 4 parlay.
College Football Record in 2022
Moneyline: 2-6 (All Underdogs/Pick’ems)
ATS: 3-4

The Touchback’s college football week 4 parlay
Game 1
South Florida Bulls at Louisville Cardinals
The pick: South Florida +14 (-110)
Louisville has been extremely inconsistent over the past two seasons. When the team does win, it is usually sloppy. For example, the Cardinals victory over UCF was more down to the Knights careless play than anything else. This brings us to our college football week 4 parlay.
South Florida kept it close against Florida, out gaining the Gators, dominating time of possession and holding them to 3-8 on third downs. There is no reason why they can’t put in a similar performance against Louisville which should keep the Bulls within two touchdowns at the end of the game.
Game 2
TCU Horned Frogs at SMU Mustangs
The pick: SMU to win (+100)
SMU isn’t a longshot to win, but they enter the Sonny Dykes Bowl as underdogs. Not that the Mustangs needed anymore motivation in a rivalry game against their former head coach. That being said, our pick here is more logic than anything. Always go with a home underdog in an even matchup especially when they have a chip on their shoulders.

Game 3
Minnesota Golden Gophers at Michigan State Spartans
The pick: Michigan State to win (+115)
Similar thinking with this selection as our last pick, although there is no bad blood between the sides. Seriously, this is like the only Big 10 contest that doesn’t have a trophy. Anyway, Michigan State wasn’t ready to play against Washington in the first half but outscored the Huskies 20-10 in the second half. There is a reason to think the opening 30 minutes was a fluke. Meanwhile, Minnesota has played no one of note.
Game 4
Toledo Rockets at San Diego State Aztecs
The pick: SDSU to win (+125)
Look, San Diego State has not been good to open 2022. But does Toledo really have enough quality to be a road favorite here? Especially considering they are coming off a physical beatdown at the hands of Ohio State. You also have to think the Aztecs will be desperate to get a win in their new stadium on national television. Okay, so it’s only FS1.
The payoff
Our college football week 4 parlay checks in with odds of +1747 which is fairly low by our standards. That means if you bet $10, you would win $184.79.
