It is game over for John Fisher and his only remaining move is to sell the Oakland A’s. Las Vegas didn’t vote on the team’s stadium funding proposal which had gone from being a done deal weeks ago to a 50-50 shot as of yesterday.

Sure, some still hold out hope the funding plan may be approved during a Nevada Legislature special session. But that ignores the fact the A’s Las Vegas stadium deal hinged upon approval being rushed through. It has already faced significant criticism and the extra time will allow more people to see the proposal for what it really is…a total con.
The only thing left for John Fisher is to sell the Oakland A’s. Hopefully, MLB steps in and makes it happen.
