4 episodes of Cheap Seats you should watch on YouTube right now

Cheap Seats is back
Cheap Seats is back and you can watch full episodes on YouTube

Cheap Seats is back. And it’s still without Ron Parker. Finding episodes of the TV show hasn’t been easy since it went off the air. Even if you did find it, episodes were in low definition. It was filmed between 2004 and 2006 right before HD became standard. I remember downloading all four seasons from Pirate Bay back in 2014.There was one seeder and it took a cool 26 days to complete despite the taped from a VHS player quality.

For those unfamiliar with the cult classic it is basically a sports equivalent of Mystery Science 3000. If you never saw that, Cheap Seats is twin brothers Randy and Jason Sklar riffing on ridiculous ESPN content with some sketches mixed in. More importantly, it’s awesome.

The brothers have started uploading episodes of Cheap Seats to their Sklarbro Country YouTube channel. There are 26 episodes of Cheap Seats online at the moment. Here are four you should watch right now.

1) Garvey Bonilla Celebrity Night

This is the Holy Grail of Cheap Seats episodes. If you’ve seen it, you know why it’s amazing. And if you’ve never watched it, watch it now. Your life will never be the same after meeting Michael Floorwax. Just remember, telling someone to squeeze their butt cheeks is not a joke.

2) SuperDogs! SuperJocks!

Another Cheap Seats classic is the SuperDogs! SuperJocks! episode. The fact this was an actual event that was broadcast on ESPN is mind boggling. Randy and Jason bring their A game to this episode. The SuperDogs! SuperJocks! board game is brilliant, but the crowd shot riffing is a personal favorite. Finally, props to the Loch Ness boombox for winning a much-deserved Cheapie.

3) Putt Putt

Putt Putt is a very underrated episode of Cheap Seats. There are so many little things that make it great. The clipboard, the embarrassing standard of mini golf on display, Bob Haizlip and the list goes on.

4) Creative Breaking Championships and K-1 Fighting

It’s kind of a shame that these two events were combined into one show because they’re both good enough to fill 23 minutes on their own. Also, there is nothing better in life than watching Elton Trower poke a hole in a Diet Coke can with his finger.
