Sign Dez Bryant 2020
There are three teams who should sign Dez Bryant for the 2020 season

Sign Dez Bryant! It feels like forever since Bryant played in a football game. The last time we heard from him, he was blowing out his Achilles tendon during his first practice with the New Orleans Saints. And the last time we saw him on the field was week 17 of 2017 where he caught a meager three passes in a meaningless game against the Eagles.

Bryant will likely get a chance to play in 2020 with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones saying he thinks about him in the shower. Wait, that’s thinking about signing him while in the shower. Not much better, but to each his own.

Signing with Dallas wouldn’t do much for him in terms of fantasy football unless Amari Cooper leaves. However, there are a few NFL teams out there that could make Bryant a relevant fantasy player in 2020. You might not want to draft him today, but that could change if he lands with one of these squads.

Teams that need to sign Dez Bryant for fantasy’s sake

New Orleans

Bryant’s first stint with the Saints didn’t last all of one practice, but Sean Payton’s team hasn’t done anything to improve their receiving corps either. That Tre’Quan Smith breakout doesn’t seem to be coming after he only managed to catch 18 passes in 2019. While we don’t know what Bryant has left in the tank, he surely has to be an upgrade on Ted Ginn Jr. and Josh Hill who combined for 55 receptions and five touchdowns last season.

Indianapolis

The Colts should sign Bryant as a replacement for Eric Ebron or an upgrade on whatever league average player they start across from T.Y. Hilton when he’s healthy. The ceiling of the former Oklahoma State Cowboy will be limited if the Colts don’t improve their quarterback, but the volume should be there.

Oakland

Similar to Indianapolis, the Raiders desperately need someone who can catch the football. Bryant seems like a player Jon Gruden would want. Bryant’s skill set at age 31 also meshes well with Derek Carr’s love of throwing short and intermediate passes.
