The Touchback is ready with our betting Parlay of the Day for June 30th. Both the NBA playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals are taking place which is where we will build our wager. Since it is summer, we also threw a baseball game in there.
Our betting Parlay of the Day for June 30th is actually pretty tame, but the payoff is quite nice. Some may not like the amount of risk we took on. However, the fun thing about bets like this is hunting for upside that’s not crazy. This one finds a solid balance.

Betting Parlay of the Day for June 30th
Phoenix Suns (-110) at Los Angeles Clippers
Even if Kawhi Leonard plays, and that is not guaranteed, the Los Angeles Clippers will face an uphill struggle to beat a Phoenix Suns team that has caught a lot of breaks. While stylistically different, Chris Paul and company remind us of the 2003-04 Detroit Pistons in terms of being a team that’s better than the sum of its parts.
Meanwhile, the Clippers look like an unhappy group of players waiting for someone to put them out of their misery. We’re betting on Phoenix to do just that.
Montreal Canadiens (+188) at Tampa Bay Lightning
In their series against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Canadiens were overwhelmed in game one only to come back and win game two. That being said, there is nothing scientific about this wager. We are simply hunting for upside on a day when there aren’t a ton of non-baseball games taking place.
Boston Red Sox (-1.5) vs. Kansas City Royals (+112)
The Kansas City Royals are not very good having lost their past seven games. They are also starting Mike Minor against the Boston Red Sox for the second time in ten days. He picked up the win at home last time out, but as we’ve seen repeatedly over the past few years, bad pitchers who face the same team twice in a brief span rarely put together two good starts.
Taking the run line on this game (+112) as opposed to moneyline (-166) helps add to the parlay’s value. The improved payout more than makes up for the extra risk.
Parlay of the Day: Bet $10 to win $106.56
The Touchback’s betting Parlay of the Day for June 30th is pretty nice all things considered. Our biggest worry would be the Red Sox because…well…it’s baseball. But this is a parlay and we will let it ride.
