Can’t miss NFL win-total bets for the 2023 season

Indianapolis Colts O/U 6.5

The Bet: Under (+100)

The Indianapolis Colts are a smoldering fire waiting to erupt. You have an injured and disgruntled running back at odds with the team. A rookie quarterback that is extremely raw. And a defense that isn’t much improved from the one that was hemorrhaging points to close out 2022. Even with two games against the Houston Texans and four NFC South matchups, it’s hard to see where seven wins are coming from.

Washington Commanders O/U 6.5

The Bet: Over (+100)

It is perfectly understandable if you don’t believe in Sam Howell or Ron Riveria. However, this is a side that won eight games last season with a rotating cast of characters under center. Washington’s defense is still one of the best in the NFL and that will keep them in a lot of contests. The schedule also contains some favorable matchups, including the Cardinals, Broncos, Rams and Falcons. Hitting the over seems plausible.

Baltimore Ravens O/U 10.5

The Bet: Under (-115)

As a team, the Baltimore Ravens plateaued over the past few seasons. They have been okay but haven’t really looked like an 11-win team. It’s hard to say anything they did during the offseason changed that outlook. The hope is offensive coordinator Todd Monken to jumpstart a flagging offense, but his track record is, at best, questionable. The under seems more plausible here.

Minnesota Vikings O/U 8.5

The Bet: Over (-130)

Sure, the Minnesota Vikings had a lot of luck in 2022. But you could also argue the team is better defensively than they were last season. At least on paper, they are. The loss of Dalvin Cook isn’t all that worrisome. Alexander Mattison has filled in for him on numerous occasions without a drop-off. This side won’t win 13 games again. However, it should easily reach nine victories.
