It is not surprising that Elon Musk is voting Republican. His announcement and random declaration that the Democratic Party is full of division and hate is par for the course. This has nothing to do with politics or the issues. It’s all about lining his pockets with as little oversight as possible.
At the top of the Republican Party are a bunch of dodgy-ass businesses whose only ambition is to be filthy rich. That comes at the expense of Americans, the environment and common decency.
Naturally, no educated person would support this. Luckily for Republican leaders, the good ol’ US of A is full of mouth breathing nitwits who only concern themselves with meaningless issues. You know what I’m talking about. Abortion, gun control, same-sex marriage, oppressing minorities and the like. Stuff that every other competent country has moved past years ago.
Anyway, Elon Musk is voting Republican because of this base. He knows they can easily be manipulated through some fear mongering over nonsense while he rapes the country in the name of profit. The oil & gas industry has been doing this successfully for 100 years.
There is no difference between Elon Musk voting Republican and Clay Travis selling his soul for conservative money. They both know the base is dumber than rocks. They’ll let you screw with no lube them over as long as you keep shouting baby murder loud enough.
Seriously, you have these dirt farmers in middle America who have been brainwashed into thinking clean energy is an evil created by homosexuals to promote their liberal agenda. Musk simply sees this group as patsies he’ll use as means to his own end. That is the Republican way.
What really cracks me up about all this is how Musk is already proclaiming to be a victim by saying political attacks on him will escalate. Sure, it has nothing to do with you circumvent the law or trying to do things in an underhanded manner. It’s obviously all about politics. In case any conservatives are reading this, the last sentence was sarcasm.
As a card-carrying Republican, being a whiny bitch is like the second or third thing you learn, so it is good Musk has mastered that skill. Next up is pandering to ultra-religious types despite clearly being indifferent to religion. Oh, he’s already doing that. I guess all that’s left is to preach about the sanctity of marriage before getting caught raw dogging a prosto or diddling kids. Hi, Matt Gaetz.
