Introverted Alpha review

As an introvert and someone who struggled in love before meeting my wife, the concept of Introverted Alpha was intriguing. And then I started looking into the program. After about five minutes, two things became painfully apparent about what it offered.

Article continues below

First, Introverted Alpha is nothing but the same standard pickup artist advice reworded to target introverts. It is not really for introverts at all. Second, the pricing for what is being provided is a total joke. We’re talking about forking over thousands of dollars for coaching from someone who has a tenuous grasp on what it means to be an introvert, an alpha or a good person.

The first red flag appears when you visit the Introverted Alpha website and seemingly 50 percent is dedicated to them telling you how they aren’t pickup artists. They will even give you a free eBook on that very topic. That’s generous of them…

…or not. You see, when someone can’t stop explaining why they aren’t something, it almost always means they are that very thing. This is the To Catch a Predator theory, by the way. Every last one of those dudes wanted to talk Chris Hansen’s ear off about why they weren’t a pedophile. But why bring the wine coolers, chocolate chip cookies and condoms?

In the case of Introverted Alpha, the wine coolers, chocolate chip cookies and condoms is the awful advice copied from pickup artists they publish on their blog.

Introverted Alpha is your run-of-the-mill pickup artist

Despite all that bluster the Introverted Alpha team throws out there, their advice is nothing but the same old pickup artist schtick. Don’t take my word for it. Let’s look at the examples.

Introverted Alpha bad advice
Two different approaches, the same advice

Here’s Introverted Alpha giving you the same information as Marni Kinrys in one of her videos, just repackaged to be softer for your introverted soul. Seriously, the latter’s video is titled ‘How To Sexually Escalate With Women (EXACT Steps & Without Being Creepy)’ but the former’s article is called ‘What To Say To A Woman You’re Attracted To: 5 Examples’. This is the same freaking advice, however.

Also, come on Introverted Alpha. The title is five examples of what to say to a woman and one of them is make physical contact. What are we doing here? Why is that in the article? Anyway, next example please.

Introvert Alpha Kate Spring
But Introverted Alpha is not a pickup artist…

That is a very similar segment found in articles from Introverted Alpha (not a pickup artist) and Kate Spring (a pickup artist). One of these is titled “How To Keep A Woman Interested In You” while the other is dubbed “How To Keep Her Interested And Wanting A Second Date”. You figure out which one is which. Let’s keep this show on the road.

Oh no. That’s not good. The Touchback’s sworn enemy and unrelenting scumbag Dan Bacon is giving out similar advice to Introverted Alpha. There is actually an uncomfortable amount of overlap between these two. So much for not being a pickup artist.

Have you even talked to an introvert?

The obtuseness of Introverted Alpha cannot be understated. The dating advice they are throwing out is totally unrelated to introverts. It’s as if founder Sarah Jones and the rest of their “coaches” have never spoken with an introvert. They clearly don’t understand the inner workings of one.

Here are some gems from an article labeled ‘10 Techniques For Approaching A Woman For The First Time’:

  • Make your way toward women you’re interested in (boldly, not aggressively!). If you never try, you’ll never know!
  • Say something to her to start the conversation! Instead of putting too much pressure on yourself, cultivate a mindset of curiosity. You can even think of it like gathering data to reflect on later!

Unbelievable. You’re a self-proclaimed introvert dating expert and your advice is this. If I could walk up and start a conversation with a person, why would I need your help in the first place? You are charging obscene amounts of money to tell people who struggle to initiate talking with others to approach strangers. That is utterly ridiculous.

Now, I know what the response to this will be. These are only free articles on their website. The paid stuff is better. But why would anyone pay for this when the Introverted Alpha program shows a complete and total lack of understanding when it comes to actually being a living, breathing introvert.

Buying anything from them would be akin to purchasing a ‘Texting in the Workplace’ course from Brett Favre. And even he wouldn’t have the audacity to charge the laughable amounts Introverted Alpha asks for. Okay, maybe he would.

Dating as an introvert does not exist

Introverts can’t date like normal people. Sure, you can try. But you would end up forcing yourself to do a bunch of stuff that causes anxiety, stress and unhappiness. As bad as the loneliness is at times, it’s a much better alternative than that trio.

I did not have many relationships before meeting my wife. But the few I did have were all impactful and positive. They were all also born from situations that allowed me to create a meaningful connection in an environment I was comfortable well before a relationship was started.

Did I miss out on dating opportunities and random sex? You betcha. Is my life worse off for it? Absolutely not. If anything, it stopped me from making a mistake in my 20s and locking down some rando. A lot of my peers who dated freely, had a kid with someone they didn’t really love and are now working some unfulfilling job they’ll be stuck at until death.

I’m thankful that’s not me every single day. If you wish to pay Introverted Alpha a stupid amount of money to force yourself to do things you don’t want to do in hopes of reaching a melancholy existence, then by all means go for it. However, a real introvert would steer clear of this shoddy nonsense.
