Las Vegas A’s: A Deep State Conspiracy

One thing has become painfully obvious after watching the Las Vegas State Senate pass SB1 an hour before the Oakland Coliseum hosted a successful reverse boycott. This relocation attempt is a deep state conspiracy led by greedy politicians desperate to cling to power.

Sound crazy? It’s no worse than an obviously guilty party trying to deny doing something they already admitted to doing. Besides, why should conservatives get to have all the fun making up crap? The thing is, though, this Las Vegas A’s deep state conspiracy theory is actually based on facts.

Please don’t take my word for this, however. For the record, here is the Las Vegas A’s deep state conspiracy theory.

Las Vegas A’s deep state conspiracy theory

Oakland doesn’t support the A’s? Tell that to the almost 28,000 people who turned out for the reverse boycott against Tampa Bay. Tell that to the US$400 million the city secured from state and federal grants for the Howard Terminal project. No, something else is at play here.

That would be a bunch of greedy, corrupt politicians and unions in Las Vegas trying to get their grubby mitts on John Fisher’s money. Let’s start on the Republican side.

Fisher has spent an ungodly amount of money on conservative candidates and causes over the years. Hell, the dude spent more than US$1 million in 2022 alone on funding efforts in California to prevent a tax hike on millionaires. The owner of the A’s has no money for player salaries but can throw cash at this. Hmmm.

This is simply what we know about publicly. Fisher was caught pumping money into a dark money group that opposed Barack Obama’s 2012 run for reelection. Who knows just how much money the A’s owner has wasted on backing clueless Republican morons.

One of those clueless morons just happens to be Nevada State Senator Lisa Krasner. How corrupt is this hapless bum? Watch for yourself:

The Touchback has an exclusive first draft of her speech before it was rewritten by Fisher and Dave Kaval. Watch it here.

Krasner and her conservative fuckwit friends do not care about the A’s moving to Las Vegas. This is 100% a move to get future funding from Fisher. Krasner all but confirms that in her performance.

She doesn’t even know John Fisher. The crooked politician seemingly had one discussion with him and just what that entailed isn’t established. This is hardly enough time to judge his integrity which has been proven time and time again to be questionable.

Krasner had all the passion and sincerity of a Bangkok whore getting plowed by some fat expat. The only difference between the two is that at least the prostitute is honest about what she is doing for money. The not-so-honorable state senator is trying to convince the world Fisher isn’t handing her a bag for this vote.

More importantly, Republican senators wouldn’t operate their businesses with so little due diligence or oversight. Why is being a “man of integrity” enough to hand anyone almost US$400 million without asking real questions? That is bad business, but I guess it is easy when the money you are giving away isn’t your own. And even better if it leads to someone pumping funds into a PAC via shell companies and bogus non-profits.

But Democrats are not exempt here either. Despite a bunch of bluster and posturing, several voted for SB1 despite the fact none of their questions were ever answered. Dave Kaval couldn’t even be bothered to face them despite being called out several times and in the building.

Instead, this group has willingly caved in exchange for support and votes from unions. The same unions who, by the way, are being greased with by cash from John Fisher to support this sham. Indirectly, Democrats are just as guilty of taking Fisher’s money as Republicans. But hey, at least you made yourself feel good going through that dog and pony show.

Seriously, none of this has to do with what’s best for Las Vegas, Nevada, Oakland or the A’s. It’s certainly not what’s best for the average Joe.

The most ironic thing of all this has to be those braindead conservative voters who do nothing more than parrot the talking points of their Newsmax masters. You know the ones. White males with shirtless selfies who can’t refer to the Oakland mayor without using a racist or sexist trope. In other words, pieces of shit.

Anyway, this group gets all butt hurt when politicians try to do anything that involves helping everyday folks. They will start incorrectly throwing out words like socialism and communism whenever someone mentions doing this.

And yet, for some inexplicable reason, they are more than willing to hand a failed billionaire vast sums of money that will provide no return on investment. Why can’t Fisher pull himself up by his bootstraps? Oh, and to make matters even more confusing, these people won’t shut up about how the government should cut spending.

Nothing about any of this makes sense. The Las Vegas A’s deep state conspiracy theory involves a bunch of corrupt politicians taking money from a failed businessman who inherited a fortune from mommy and daddy.

Meanwhile, the only people supporting this are those with their hand in the cookie jar and conservatives incapable of thinking critically or for themselves, for that matter. You can’t make this stuff up.

Speaking of stuff that can’t be made up. Those 28,000 A’s fans at the Coliseum for the reverse boycott were very real. The new ballpark in Las Vegas would struggle to accommodate that many people, most of whom would be away fans.

Much like QAnon or pizzagate any other number of stupid things conservatives believe, the A’s moving to Las Vegas defies basic logic. That is why I only have two words for John Fisher, Dave Kaval, Nevada politicians and any other bum that’s part of the Las Vegas A’s deep state conspiracy theory: Suck It!
