Lil’ Scrappy got love from the likes of Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, The Game and Lil’ Jon before even coming out with an album. No Problem would end up being his major hit, although he did appear on some collaborations after this.
These days Lil’ Scrappy is more well known for his appearances on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Honestly, I don’t even know if he released any music after this.
Song: No Problem
Artist: Lil’ Scrappy
Year: 2004
Quote it:
“I got big balls an’ bullets like baseballs.
Split ya dome, put you straight, knock out all y’all”
Best Video Moment
There are quite a few. Snoop being tipped out of a wheelchair and Lil’ Jon trying his hardest to act serious are worth a shout. However, that big dude riding the lowered bike alongside the car will forever stick out to me. What the hell is that guy doing? Why is he driving towards a car on a bicycle? I still do not understand this.
Training Wheels
For some reason, the theme of the No Problem is a crunk, ATL-version of the movie Training Day. That’s fair enough except for the fact Training Day had come out like years before this video was released. To give this a modern equivalent, this would be akin to a music video parodying Moneyball coming out today.
There is one key takeaway from this video that will always still with me. It’s easy to jack someone when they are in a wheelchair. Snoop even knew it was coming and tried to get out of there, but he still got jacked.
