Believe it or not, the end of the football season is nigh. Sure, it’s a sad time, but there is a game left to wager on. And that is why we’re here with the best Super Bowl LVI bets as well as one you should avoid.
When we say best, we are referring to a wager that either has a high likelihood of happening (at least to us) or one with odds that are too good to pass up. Of course, you may disagree with us if you are either a Cincinnati Bengals or LA Rams fan and come into this with some inherent biases.
With that out of the way, let’s look at the best Super Bowl LVI bets as well as one you should probably avoid. Odds via Fanduel Sportsbook.

The 3 best Super Bowl LVI bets
1) Under 48.5 points (-110)
Both teams have been solid defensively during the NFL Playoffs if you remove the game they each had to play against one of the league’s best offenses. The Rams held Arizona to 11 points and San Francisco to 17. The Bengals have been just as good, keeping both the Raiders and Titans under 20 points.
Both offenses have had their moments in the postseason but they also have plenty of weaknesses. Given the firepower that will be on the field, a shootout is possible. However, the under hitting seems much more likely.
2) Joe Mixon to score a touchdown (+115)
Los Angeles has allowed three rushing touchdowns in the playoffs even though they have mostly shutdown the run. Meanwhile, Mixon scored 16 times during the regular season and the Bengals aren’t afraid to give him multiple chances to punch it in if they’re in the red zone. A score from the running back is well within the realm of possibility during Super Bowl LVI.
3) Overtime to be played (+1040)
Given just how the NFL season has played out this year, the Super Bowl going to overtime doesn’t seem absurd. All things considered, this is just a wild bet you throw five or ten bucks because the odds are too good not to.
Super Bowl LVI bet to avoid
Any LA rushing props
The Rams’ ground game has been impossible to predict throughout the playoffs. Usage between Cam Akers and Sony Michel has varied quite a bit while neither has been effective. What’s more, Matthew Stafford has scored both of the team’s rushing touchdowns in the postseason. This is a situation to avoid entirely.
