The only thing standing between us and a winning wager was Purdue in week 8. Seven days later, the Boilermakers were our lone correct pick. The rollercoaster ride ends there as they aren’t featured in our college football week 10 parlay.
Saturday’s slate of games may lack headline matchups, but there are quite a few interesting contests on tap. Many College Football Playoff hopefuls are looking at tricky ties against unranked opposition with something to prove.
How will this shape The Touchback’s college football week 10 parlay? Let’s find out. Odds via Fanduel Sportsbook.

The Touchback’s college football week 10 parlay
Wake Forest (+110) at North Carolina
Wake Forest hasn’t played any program as good as North Carolina all season. Of course, the Tar Heels haven’t exactly lived up to expectations in 2021. Last season, the Demon Deacons contrived to lose a 21-point lead in the second half at Chapel Hill. This year’s team seems too poised to let that happen again, especially against a .500 UNC side.
Wyoming (+140) vs Colorado State
Two middling Mountain West teams face off in the conference’s best stadium this week. Wyoming has lost four in a row and is making a quarterback change heading into the Border War with Colorado State. Meanwhile, the Rams have been all over the map this season. They were upset by FCS South Dakota State and Vanderbilt to open the year before hanging tough with Iowa. CSU also haa a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot which is another reason to take the home underdog.
Kentucky (-110) vs Tennessee
This, for some reason, is a pick’em game. That makes no sense. Tennessee has shown nothing in 2021 that leads you to believe they can hang with Kentucky in Lexington. Speaking of the Wildcats, they lost a pair of tough road games to Georgia and Mississippi State but are perfect 5-0 at home. If feels like sportsbooks are punishing them for these losses.
Navy +20.5 (-106) at Notre Dame
On the surface, this looks crazy. But if you look past the records, there isn’t a lot supporting Notre Dame winning by three touchdowns. The Fighting Irish have only managed that feat once in eight tries this season (vs Wisconsin). Navy’s start to the year was abysmal, but they have been solid over recent weeks, including a seven-point loss to Cincinnati. The Midshipmen are an interesting cover all things considered.
Parlay Total: Bet $10 to win $176.99
A fairly modest payout this time around as all of our outright selections aren’t huge underdogs.
