It is still early in the season which means sportsbooks can tend to over- or undervalue teams based on a small sample size. Our college football week 2 parlay tries to take advantage of that. Some of the week 1 upsets were trends while others were simple one-off flukes that can create favorable odds.
This is our roundabout way of saying The Touchback’s college football week 2 parlay features Washington. But we will get to that in a few paragraphs.
The slate of games this week has a little bit of everything. You have ranked matchups, non-conference mismatches and even a handful of conference contests. All of this means there are plenty of ways to build a parlay. Here is what we’re looking at. Odds via Fanduel Sportsbook.

Washington at Michigan (+205)
There are two ways to approach this game. The first is to assume Washington is awful and are going to get blown out based on last week’s result. The second is to believe the loss to FCS Montana was a complete aberration. Either could be true.
We also must consider Michigan here. The Wolverines have been known to barf up games like a freshman sorority pledge at her first rager under Jim Harbaugh. This is a leap of faith wager where we take the better odds and trust in the unknown.

North Carolina State at Mississippi State (+116)
Mississippi State under Mike Leach could best be described as disjointed. This season got off to an indifferent start with the Bulldogs sneaking past Louisiana Tech. Meanwhile, North Carolina State is a perfectly middle-of-the-pack ACC team. But they are not good enough to be a road favorite to any SEC school not named Vanderbilt. Bet Hail State.
Iowa (+164) vs. Iowa State
Look, I want Iowa State to win. The Big Ten sucks. But Iowa has owned the Cyclones, winning the last five Cy-Hawk Trophy matchups. All things considered, the Hawkeyes may not be as talented as their in-state rival but are deeper and more physical. This game will be close. However, those two factors make us like the underdog here.
Week 2 Parlay: Bet $10 to win $163.92
There were several other games we thought about adding to this college football week 2 parlay. In particular, South Carolina, Tennessee and Arizona were all interesting. But this trio of games makes for a strong wager with a nice payout.
