There are numerous slow drafts, and even some fast ones, taking place at the moment. I’ll never understand why any redraft league would do this in June, but to each their own. If you are filling your roster now, here are some of the top fantasy football players being over drafted based on current ADP.

Currently, there are 25 players on Yahoo! Fantasy with an ADP under 25. In other words, these are fantasy football players being selected within the first two rounds of a 12-team league and are in contention for 10 teamers.

One thing this list won’t do is discredit generational talents simply because their past performances seem unsustainable. For instance, Bill Barnwell did a good job of breaking down why Derrick Henry isn’t likely to be worth a first round pick this year. And while that argument makes sense, countless people, me included, have been expecting him to fall off for years now. Of course, the running back has made us look foolish. So, while Cooper Kupp probably won’t repeat his 2021 success, there is no reason to bet against it either.

1) Deebo Samuel (ADP 20.4)

We’ve covered why the outlook for Deebo Samuel in 2022 can best be described as murky. Firstly, no one has any idea on just how the San Francisco 49ers will deploy him after two entirely different utilization methods in 2021. Secondly, it is anyone’s guess as to what Trey Lance will do this season. That’s far too much risk for a guy being taken in the first 24 picks.

2) Leonard Fournette (ADP 18.8)

Leonard Fournette finished as RB7 in half-point PPR last season which placed him between Ezekiel Elliot and Antonio Gibson. Those latter two are being selected in the fourth round while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rusher is coming off the board in the second. There is no value taking Fournette, who did not look particularly spry in 2021, here.

3) Alvin Kamara (ADP 18.6)

There are a number of factors working against Alvin Kamara. For starters, he still has a legal case hanging over his head that will probably see him suspended. More importantly, the New Orleans Saints offense was not all that dynamic. Part of that was due to injuries. However, Kamara did appear as if he lost a step and the team’s quarterback play isn’t doing him any favors.

4) Javonte Williams (ADP 16.3)

Two words: Melvin Gordon. The Denver Broncos didn’t bring him back to sit on his hands. He will get at least 40 percent of the side’s backfield touches. That means it is going to be difficult for Javonte Williams to return second-round value barring an injury.
